Is alloClae a dermal filler?
alloClae is a structural adipose tissue allograft, not a conventional synthetic dermal filler. It is designed to provide localized volume, cushioning and support in appropriate body areas.
Does alloClae require surgery?
alloClae does not require liposuction to harvest your own fat and may be administered as an in-office procedure. It is not the same as traditional surgical fat transfer.
When will I see results?
An initial change in volume may be visible immediately after treatment. The appearance of the treated area can change during recovery, so follow your provider’s instructions and recommended follow-up schedule.
How long do results last?
Longevity varies by patient, treatment area and other individual factors. Your provider can explain the available evidence and realistic expectations for your planned treatment.
Is there downtime?
Recovery varies. You may experience temporary swelling, discomfort, bruising or tenderness. Your provider will explain activity restrictions and when you can safely return to your normal routine.
Is alloClae safe?
All procedures carry potential risks. Reported complications include pain, infection, hematoma, cyst or nodule formation, skin discoloration and allergic or immune reactions, including anaphylaxis. A consultation is essential to review your medical history and determine whether treatment is appropriate
